Pearly everlasting spreads making a great ground cover or filler plant in your garden, filling in around taller plants. The stems and leaves are covered with small hairs giving it a fuzzy appearance. The plants become covered with small, long-lasting white/yellow blooms. Flowers can be cut and dried for flower arrangements. Host plant for American Lady and Painted Lady butterfly caterpillars.
