Bristly Cattail Sedge is a hardy native sedge that brings soft texture and structure to moist gardens and naturalized landscapes. Its bright green, arching foliage forms tidy clumps that stay attractive through much of the growing season, while unique bristly seedheads emerge in summer and mature from green to warm brown tones. Well-suited for rain gardens, woodland edges, streambanks, and erosion control, this adaptable species thrives in moist soils and provides valuable habitat and ecological benefits with very little maintenance.
