This unique looking plant has a thick central stalk and a white flower with reddish purple stamen that resemble whiskers. The seed pods have small, sticky hairs and the leaves give off a sulpher-like smell. Does well in sandy, rocky or disturbed soil and a variety of growing types. Attracts a variety of butterflies.
