Cream Wild Indigo

Baptisia bracteata

This early bloomer features beautiful clusters of cream-colored flowers. It forms a bushy shape and the branches droop under the weight of the flowers, adding to the shrub-like appearance. An important food source for queen bumblebees emerging from hibernation in the spring. It is slow growing and may take a few years to bloom but is very long-lived.
