Dwarf Blazing Star, also know as Cylindrical Blazing Star, is the shortest of the Liatris species. Purple flowers attract bees, butterflies, skippers, and many other insects. It is drought tolerant and does well in rock gardens and nutrient poor soil. It does not compete well with tall or aggressive plants.
