Sprig Native Plant Nursery
Harebell
Harebell
Campanula rotundifolia
A delicate native perennial with slender stems and nodding, bell-shaped blue to violet flowers that bloom from early to late summer. Its airy form and fine texture lend a graceful presence to a native garden. Its long bloom period provides nectar for native bees and other pollinators. Well adapted to dry, well-drained conditions, harebell thrives in rocky soils and narrow crevices, and it readily self-sows in stonework such as retaining walls.
