Leafy Prairie Clover

Leafy Prairie Clover is on the brink of extinction in natural spaces, occurring in small populations in just a few states. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It does not do well in the shade and does not tolerate competition from taller plants. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, moths, and skippers. Rabbits and deer like the foliage so you may want to take steps to protect them.
