Swamp Marigold, also known as Showy tickseed, Bur marigold, and several other common names, is a showy annual that can form beautiful swaths of bright yellow. It is an annual but will reseed if it likes its conditions. It prefers moist conditions but is drought tolerant. The seeds are eaten by birds and the flowers attract a wide range of pollinators, including bees, wasps, butterflies, and beetles. Host plant for the Dainty Sulphur caterpillar.
