Winged Loosestrife is a native wetland plant, not to be confused with its invasive relative, Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria). Winged Loosestrife is safe for gardens and plays a vital ecological role, supporting native pollinators, beneficial insects, and small birds.

This species has a long bloom period, attractive fall color, and tolerance for both wet soils and occasional dry spells. It mixes well with other plants in wetland restorations and garden settings.
